Possibilities
Before begining a debate, the Challenger would like to know the stand of the Defender and hence the Four Possibilities between two concepts are explored as follows:
- Something that is both A and B
- Something that is A but not B
- Something that is B but not A
- Something that is neither A nor B
Example:
- Someone who is both Intelligent and Successful. Example: A student who is Intelligent and Successful in his exams
- Someone who is Intelligent but not Successful. Example: A student who is Intelligent but is not Successful in his exams
- Someone who is Successful but not Intelligent. Example: A student who is Successful in his exams but is not Intelligent
- Someone who is neither Intelligent nor Successful. Example: A student who is neither Intelligent nor Successful in his exams
