Possibilities

Before begining a debate, the Challenger would like to know the stand of the Defender and hence the Four Possibilities between two concepts are explored as follows:

  1. Something that is both A and B
  2. Something that is A but not B
  3. Something that is B but not A
  4. Something that is neither A nor B

Example:

  1. Someone who is both Intelligent and Successful. Example: A student who is Intelligent and Successful in his exams
  2. Someone who is Intelligent but not Successful. Example: A student who is Intelligent but is not Successful in his exams
  3. Someone who is Successful but not Intelligent. Example: A student who is Successful in his exams but is not Intelligent
  4. Someone who is neither Intelligent nor Successful. Example: A student who is neither Intelligent nor Successful in his exams
